Friends Of The Farm Samuell Farm, Dallas, TX The Plan for the Preservation and Operation of Samuell Farm -{an aerial view of the entire property}- "Just a few miles east of Dallas, somebody is trying to destroy the past.  Somebody is trying to rob urban children of the opportunity to experience those days when this was a rural area dotted with working farms on nearly every hillside.  Somebody seems to hate the fact that inner-city kids can get joy out of playing on old farm equipment and petting cows in an antique barn." -- Henry Tatum - The Dallas Morning News Our organization is committed to preserving it We Are Friends Of The Farm FOTF was formed to protect a farm, to preserve a dream, and to promote a way of life.  In our efforts to save Samuell Farm, we have become friends with many others who share our belief that the most important thing one can raise on a farm is a family.  We believe Samuell Farm is a place for learning, for laughing, and for loving.  We believe the 340-acre tract of Texas prairie is an historic place – a place where others can be helped and we can be healed.  We encourage every member of our great city to become involved in our efforts to make Samuell Farm a place like no other – to add their personal brushstrokes to this great canvas we paint with our passions.
